Introduction
Nsight. ("Nsight", "we", "us") provides AI-powered video security infrastructure for homes, businesses, and multi-site operators. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.
Data we collect
We collect three categories of data:
- Account data: name, email, organization, role.
- Operational data: site configurations, rule packs, audit logs, alert acknowledgements.
- Video content: only if you explicitly enable cloud backup. Default is local-only processing.
How we use it
We use this data to operate the service, route alerts, generate audit trails, and provide support. We do not train models on your video without explicit opt-in.
Retention & deletion
Default retention is 30 days for residential plans and 60 days local + 365 days cloud for business plans. You can configure shorter windows. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days.
Your rights
Under GDPR and CCPA, you have rights to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. To exercise them, write to privacy@nsight.ai.
Security
AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit. SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified. Read more on our trust page.
International transfers
We offer regional data residency (US, EU, UK, AU). Cross-region transfers use Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
