How do I add a new camera?+
Run discovery in the console. Most ONVIF or RTSP cameras self-onboard. For vendor-specific quirks, check the integration guide.
Can I change a rule pack mid-shift?+
Yes. Rules are live. Saving in the console pushes within seconds, and the change is logged in the audit trail.
Where does Iris keep memory?+
Site-scoped, encrypted at rest, and exportable. Memory is per-site, never cross-site by default.
What about offline failover?+
The Sentinel keeps inferring locally even if internet drops. Events queue and sync when connectivity returns.
How do I export an investigation?+
From the timeline, click Export bundle. You get the clip, reasoning trace, and signed event manifest in one zip.
How do I delete data?+
Per-site retention policies are tunable in the console. Full purge on request. We honor GDPR and CCPA delete requests within 30 days.
Is my data used to train models?+
Never without explicit opt-in. Default is local-only inference; cloud cohorts are anonymised and only used for model improvements you opt into.
Do you do on-prem deployments?+
Yes. Enterprise tier supports BYOC (your AWS/Azure/GCP account) and full on-prem rack deployments.
What's the status page?+
